The 6.0clock Students

DEEPER LIFE SCHOOLS OUTREACH (DLSO), KOFORIDUA. DLSO RALLY, KOFORIDUA SECTEC. (Nov. 2018) THE 6.OCLOCK STUDENT Are you a student? Are you struggling with time management? Do you invest all of your time in homework and studying? Is it possible that you feel drained and empty; do you feel as though your relationship with God is suffering? Do you want to excel in spite of the challenges of school life ? The campus is corrupted and unfriendly to real Christian living, balanced with academic excellence. There is however, hope if we live at 6.O'clock. Prov 6:6-9 Take a good look at the clock, when it is 6.oclock, the long arm is on 12 and the short one is on 6. This divides the 360 degree clock into two equal halves of 180 degrees each. That is ballance. That is how the excellent student lives. A student needs to be well ballanced with time, with God, well planned and academically studious. That is how to become a celebrated and exceptional student. 1. THE DEFINITION OF THE EXCEPTIONAL CHRISTIAN John 3:16 Dan 1:8 Ezek 18:4 Roman 6:23 Roman 3:23 The love of God has been extended to us. This is why, though man's punishment for sinning against God was death, God sent His beloved son Jesus Christ to die for all our sin. (song "i just want to say baba, รด seeeyooo"). Sin is a transgression of the laws of God. It could be what you have done wrong, or what you should have done but you didnt do. If you have ever sinned against God. The payment is that you should have died, but Jesus, died in your stead. That is the good news. If you accept him, your sins will be forgiven, and your conscience will be freed. When you accept Jesus, you receive the Holy Spirit, your brain will sharpen. Failure will run away. 2. THE DICHOTOMY OF AN EXCELLENT STUDENT Dan 1:8 Prov. 6:6 Dichotomy implies difference. The 6.Oclock student is an excellent student. A different student. Different from all others who have no vision about the future. The excellent student respects time. Puts God first. A humble but confident student. A student with an agenda. This student knows his teachers scheme of work. Solves the past questions and reads ahead of the class. The excellent student doesnt just follow the crowd because he knows they are all going different directions. What you give attention determines you're direction, which determines your destiny. The ant in our text knows when to do what, how to do it, and what not to do. 3. DIGESTING THE 6.0CLOCK PRINCIPLE. Eccl 12:, IJohn 2:15-17 Prov.6:6-9 Get born again. Get your mind on the future. God has plans for every youth. When you decide for Him, your life will never be the same. What should you do to be balanced ? Know your purpose. Write down your visions. Get a time table. Link up with other believers. Don't miss Church with flimsy excuses. Get busy for GOD. Get involved. Apportion your time well and follow. Discipline is your decision to do what you know must be done, whether you feel like doing it or not. Discipline yourself and follow your time table. Join an effective study group. Use the library effectively. Pray when you have to. Read your Bible. Listen to God. Ask questions. Avoid aimless movements, and associations. There is a plethora of great men today, who through hard work, ballanced with real godliness, have reached great heights in spite of their humble beginings. "I have never seen a man who gave His life to Jesus, and regretted it." Billy Graham. It is the desire of God, and the leadership of our Church to see our youth excel and win international recognitions. Do your best, and bring glory to God in all your achievements
